[ Me like I just woke up and haven't seen any of the locations but I will agree on this probably. He glances aside at Itsuki when the other walks up. ]

That is all and well. [ Meanwhile Estinien here with all his bandages still, especially over his face / eye. It's fine, he's recovered enough that he can move around and do mild tasks as necessary and sometimes that's okay. ] Eight consecutively, or on separate occasions?

Things seem to happen nonstop in the later half of each 'cycle' of days.

[ Why do I have to say this so weirdly. Apparently Eorzean 'weeks' are different so like... he has to just accept these weird 7-day cycles. ]

It's rather troublesome. And every week, someone who has been on one of those odd ventures ends up dying.

[ Is that probably coincidence? Maybe. Is it funny still? Yeah. Ryunosuke, 9S, and then Malik... all fresh out of CYOA into death... ]

I have. Heard of others getting some, and receiving one myself from 9S... though I oddly received it through my investigation, rather than it being sent to my mailbox.

We found some while exploring too. [AND ALSO GOT SLIMED] They were from Kazuma and Ryunosuke -- addressed to Kumon-kun and Bubble-chan. I ended up reading the letters.

They said they were somewhere with the Dreamer and the others, and that they were trying to fix the prism.

Anyway on Friday when things are a bit calmer, Estinien will be... in the salon, actually. He's kind of standing over a salon chair into the mirror, one hand on the desk-thingy with a pair of scissors trapped under his fingers, while his other hand is running through his hair. From the sharp stuff from his CYOA yesterday, some strands are now a bit shorter than others, and overall it looks... kind of choppy and uneven. So, you can see where this is going, right?

Except he clearly has no idea where to start. ]

Mayhaps I should just take the blade of my lance and chop it all off...

[ Muttering to himself. ]

But Estinien just looks over at Itsuki being. There. How he did not notice this man is anyone's mystery, the magic of rp threads.




He just looks up and down at him as if somehow, that will help to judge Itsuki's prowess for hair-cutting and whether he should trust him. Because Estinien is rude like that. ]

Estinien makes a slight face, his usual default scowl... but then holds out the scissors at him. His hair rn just looks so bad even by his own terrible standards. Yes, handle-side out, he's kind of mean but he's not that violent. ]

Pray keep the touching to the minimum.

[ This isn't a slander of Itsuki or anything. He seems defensive -- he's a little touchy about, well, being touched right now. ]

[Itsuki's eyes soften a little, but he nods. He'll hand over a hairbrush in exchange for the scissors.]

I'll start trimming it after you brush your hair.

[we don't want to give estinien accidental layers even tho he'd rock it]

[ He huffs and just accepts this. He does not understand the concept of certain brushes for other hairstyles, and just gets out whatever tangles. Some people might cringe looking at this and the lack of any real brushing etiquette but this seems to be the perfect norm for him, just powering through any knots. ]
