It's not like his reaction time has miraculously improved in the time between Buzen seeing a spider and then Buzen flying off to fight said spider.
He wipes at the wound, then focuses his gaze on Buzen having a great time with the spider. The spider who has lost one of its eight legs, and is now a little less fast than before.
