[ don't tell me this before touch week, yaywon. crow armbrust will remember this. ]
Loosens tongues, or something? Maybe if people want to keep their secrets, they should avoid it.
[ sweet kazuma... played by naughty sipp... ]
Not being in control of yourself, or acting in a way you wouldn't normally, and not knowing any better until it's too late... [ ... ] I can't imagine how he must've felt at the end there, when he came back in to himself.
[as bad as life might have been for itsuki, he can't say that he's ever had his choices completely stripped from him. they'd been conditionally taken away, but no one brainwashed him to board that ship.]
[ looks up from typing my murder proposal, death by tickles hm? ]
…
Maybe.
If you can force someone to believe or act a different way, then they can break that compulsion too. It goes both ways. I just don’t know if it’ll be easy or near-impossible.
[ he’d broken his own mind control, after all. but it had taken a powerful amount of loss and sacrifice and pain all crashing down at once around him for those last pieces to click back into place. it shouldn’t take such a loss to shake something loose in a person, but really, hadn’t that been what had happened to Kazuma, when he’d realised the gravity of his actions and the truth behind how they had played out? ]
It sounds like it'd be really hard to do... I'm being compelled right now, aren't I? I don't feel any different, so I don't really know what to resist.
[ no yaywon gets to endgame and suffer. i get to die. ]
I mean… you might not know it, but quite a few of us could see the difference. Sometimes that’s the part that matters. Not whether you can snap out of it on your own, but if someone else can get you to. Or at least keep an eye on you until it wears off. Y’know?
hmmm........ he's still not that aware, but he does trust crow? he feels like crow knows enough of him as a person to see how strangely he might be acting at any given time,]
So should we all start a buddy system then? If we know enough about each other, then maybe we could help snap each other out of it.

Honestly? I feel like you're one of those people.
[good at asking questions...]

... I don't know about that. Sometimes if you want people to open up to you, you've got to open up to them annnnd I don't always want to do that.
[ simples. ]
no subject
Yeah? I feel like you're pretty open with me. Or do you need a little drink in you first?
no subject
The alcohol probably helps.
no subject
no really, he flinches away a little, probably too much for someone who's trying to pretend not to be.]
-- Yeah. [ugHHHHHH maybe crow didn't see] It always does.

Is there really no way to break it?

Although, can’t be helped if we end up perceiving each other. Well, as long as no one goes shouting from the rooftops about it.

[me checking this thread and im shaking kazuma is gonna die and they're like this...
though it's a good defense mechanism when it comes to not thinking about terrible things]

That’s a secret only certain people will get to find out, y’know.
no subject
Lucky them.
[he's so tired, he might just fall asleep here]
no subject
Eh, maybe.
[ there he goes. ] I’m not hunting down a blanket for you if you sleep.
