You know, the gumball app. If you exchange three tokens to get one, it gets an upgrade. Apparently, you can trade for stuff like powers or items from home. I know Shuu-kun got his sword back that way.

Just exchange your tokens at the machine, and you'll get a message on your app about going to see a resident to unlock trades.
