I picked you because I knew...a lot of the people you really cared about were really dead. And I thought--at the time, I thought that dying wasn't really a big deal, it didn't really matter, especially if you got to hang out with everyone you cared about after.
And then I...decided to do it that way cuz I figured it'd be quickest. And easiest. No fighting, nothing drawn out. Neither of us would have to really get hurt. I heard that slitting the throat was supposed to be one of the quickest ways to die, so...[ shrugs ] ...there you go.
[Itsuki listens to Danny's explanation, and the tide of anger that rushes through him is not for him -- no.
